About The Artist
Victor’s passion for Photography really started late in life. Although always a “snapshooter”, it wasn’t until he retired that he really worked to fulfill his vision of capturing life’s experiences. As an experienced Photoshop user from the early 1990s, his art and expertise grew as he traveled throughout many world locations making images in countries on the continents of Asia, South America, Europe, Africa, and North America.
After active duty in the United States Army, Victor joined the Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Division of United Technologies. For Pratt and Whitney he traveled throughout the United States, Canada and the Middle East on various assignments with Quality Assurance, Instructing, and the Purchasing Departments.
Victor is the past Education Director for the Hernando Computer Club, Past President of the Glen Lakes Computer Club (both in Florida where he resides), and has taught Photoshop and Photoshop Elements in both of these institutions along with many other computer related courses. He is a member of the Spring Hill Camera Club and often conducts classes on various Photographic topics.
Victor’s hobbies include photography and building custom computers. As a certified A+ Computer Technician, he continues to work repairing, consulting, and teaching in this field. As a small aircraft Pilot, Victor had the opportunity to photograph many interesting places in the United States and outside of the country in Canada and the Middle East. He is the holder of United States, Canadian, and Israeli Pilot’s Licenses, and has flown over five hundred hours in these countries.
Married to Phyllis for (well, more years than we’ll discuss here), they have three children and four grandchildren.
